What to Expect in Your First Session

Your first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and begin building a supportive, safe relationship. You don’t need to share more than you’re comfortable with.

We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and your goals. I’ll review confidentiality, consent, and the therapy process, and answer any questions you have about trauma-focused therapies or the eclectic approaches I use.

Sessions are collaborative and paced to your needs. My goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and empowered to take the next steps toward healing and balance.
